dark stories of the north

"And the angel of music sings songs in my head..."

OOC:

Sorry for the lack of activity here, everyone! I promise I’ll be back and updating daily soon. I’m currently in my school’s production of Into the Woods and I’ve been super busy, but I still check here every day! Feel free to send along questions and asks. I’m always open to rping with anyone!

OOC: Looking for an Erik/Phantom again!

Mine seems to have disappeared, well, I suppose it is rather in character!

Anyway, Leroux/Kay based preferred, but ALW is also welcome.

My goodness.

People from the century of this internet phase must not have a good understanding of corsets. They certainly should not be painful!

I dare say if they are, anonymes, you are wearing them incorrectly!

Yes.. Maestro was very, very pleased that evening. I dare say I have never heard such happy tones in his voice, even now. It is a shame I do not often see such a smiles from him…

This evening’s rehearsal went rather well.. much better than the last few, I am relieved to say.

Of course, as I was about to depart afterward I heard some of the stage hands telling sinister stories about the “ghost light”.

I had never supposed there was any reason for leaving one lamp on in the theatre beyond allowing anyone who might have reason to be here late night to see where they’re going. The opera can be quite a precarious place to wander, you know. Once, when I was a girl, I hurt myself while wandering around in the dark. Madame Giry was livid, I could not dance for almost a fortnight.

Apparently, however, it is meant to keep ghosts away.

I admit, I could not help but chuckle.

The ghost is far more real than they imagine. And a light is not likely to keep him at bay.
